We enjoyed this trip very much with Rachit and his local team taking care of us at every step and being very flexible to accommodate us with unexpected weather for the season. Rachit and team made my trip specially memorable as they got an awesome cake for my BD at 4000 meters to celebrate with all group, how can you top that?! Rachit is mature and courteous beyond his young age (compared to me :) ), has a sense of humor and most important of all, knows where to find great coffee at any elevation :). Being new to trekking I was lucky enough to choose B&C
R expedition chief Mr. Rachit Gupta was
energetic and enthusiastic, always very positively engaged with the group his professionalism was exemplary. He was knowledgeable about the local area and provided background information and explanations.
The whole tour was well organized and every minute detail was taken care of by him.
The efforts of the support team during the journey were really impressive

It was my first trek with B&C...1st time in ladakh region and 1st 6000 plus mtrs altitude peak.. Romil Sir’s guidance and experience helped me immensely.
His suggestions before hand were invaluable like he instructed me to be lil slow from day 1 of the trek, which I couldn’t because of my natural pace while climbing, but later realised it on the day when we reached the base camp of Kangyatse, why it’s vital to go with slow pace. His foresight for coming difficulties like AMS and others is very sharp, he took us for acclimatisation hike after reaching every camp site which I think helped largely for summit of Kangyatse.
He also guided me to offload my stuff to conserve energy for summit push which I was about to carry over myself... The guidance and support I received during the summit push were invaluable.
The quality of the tents, food, sherpas, and trek gear was exceptional. Everything was efficiently organised and managed. I am delighted to have connected with B & C and look forward to plan my next treks with them soon.

KY2 is my third expedition with Boots and Crampons ! Led by Romil and Rigzin . 5 days of gaining altitude , reach the base camp
And that 1 day of summit push !!
The support team for tents , set ups , food , tea, soups were always magically before us in each of camping sites ! Helping clients not flinching a bit every time , we didn’t have to wait in cold or line up for anything from hot water to food … enthusiasm of team was contagious !!
Now coming to serious part of this journey , The Climb !! All the days , the guidance , plan the briefing by Rigzin and Romil sir were to the point , precise and with clarity . The stories of mountaineering with reflection on respect towards nature , spirituality was a beautiful experience.
Till the day of summit , I was never weighed down by stress of summit and that’s possible only if you trust your leadership!!
Now I am one of the climbers who couldn’t summit due to my health issue and if am saying anyday I climb again it would be again with Romil and B&C should underline the trust and professionalism I’ve seen ! I was faced with a health challenge at summit push and Romil made sure I was safe mentally and physically! The decisiveness of leader is make it break for any climber and was so well demonstrated!
The quality of gear or knowledge of crew of this group is at a high threshold and am not even going there .. superior as always !
Humility is the biggest proof of depth of knowledge Nd strength. Very uncommon in today’s world ,feel blessed to have been guided under such an amazing leader - thank you Romil for being you and thanks B &C! Until.. next mountain…

I discovered Boots and Crampons while searching for beginner-friendly mountain expeditions and they came highly recommended. Last year, I did Friendship Peak with Boots and Crampons and had an absolutely phenomenal experience. This year, I did Ksng Yatse 2 with them, and the experience was even better, surpassing all expectations once again.
They meticulously planned every aspect of the expedition, ensuring attention to detail and preparing for any contingencies and delays due to weather. They have an excellent system for selecting guides and staff from the local area, who are not only highly knowledgeable about the mountain itself but also deeply familiar with the local culture and traditions. This adds a unique layer to the experience, allowing you to truly appreciate the place you're in.
During the treks, the guides and leaders are incredibly supportive, always encouraging you to challenge yourself and push your limits. They always have your back and that attitude makes a huge difference during the summit push.
Overall, I have no reason to look beyond Boots and Crampons for my future expeditions and can't recommend them enough.

I had the privilege of climbing both Everest and Lhotse with the exceptional support of Boots and Crampons, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Even in the most challenging and adverse conditions of the 2023 season, the team went above and beyond to ensure I summitted both peaks and more importantly, return safely. From meticulous logistics to expert guidance, every aspect of the expedition was handled with absolute professionalism. Their expertise, attention to detail, and focus on safety made all the difference. Their ability to adapt to changing conditions was truly impressive. If you're looking for a reliable and highly skilled team for your high-altitude expeditions, Boots and Crampons is the one to choose! And I must say.. what amazed me the most was that both Romil sir and Bharath somehow found ways and means to keep communicating and motivating me throughout the climb.. even on summit camp..!!
